Girls go through a lot of changes! New friends, new schools, family changes, and body changes are just a few of the many things that make being a kid stressful and sometimes overwhelming! Not to mention the changes experienced from the COVID-19 pandemic. In this group, we will learn new ways to talk about feelings, and how to communicate and express them in safe and helpful ways. This is a judgment-free zone where we will all be learning together how to navigate the changes of being a kid in today’s world.
This group will be meeting in-person every Wednesday and will follow our latest Community Care Guidelines and COVID-19 protocols to create a safe, outdoor space for girls ages 9 to 11 to feel connected.
This is an 8-week in-person group exploring different topics each week, ranging from anxiety, self-esteem, feelings of sadness or loneliness, effectively communicating needs, and regulation skills.

Date & Time: Begins Wednesday April 28th, 4:00 – 5:00 pm for 8 consecutive weeks
• Groups will include no more than 12 participants
