This 8 week group aims to provide youth with tools in becoming more acquainted with their bodies as a means of developing life skills for physical, mental and emotional well-being. Through yoga, other movement exercises, games and mindfulness practices, group participants will gain emotional regulation, and distress tolerance skills in a fun and supportive environment. The practices of Yoga can often help young people build a larger window of tolerance to feelings and sensations. In return providing a stronger ability to discern needs, manage energy levels, emotional states, and gain an overall stronger ability to self-regulate. This group also aims to help youth have healthier relationship to their body, develop more positive and healthy coping skills, and in return build a stronger sense of
self worth.

Runs from July 20th to Sept 7 from 3-4 pm, ages 9-13 (COVID19 Protocols ensured for safe
outdoor space
 Groups will include no more than 12 participants.
 Insurance accepted including OHP. Cost is $36.00 per 45-60 minute session.
 No prior Yoga experience needed. This group is taught in an inclusive way with lots of
options and opportunities for participants to practice making choices that make sense for
them while participating with others. In return allowing participants to develop greater
self confidence and self worth. If you can breathe, you can practice yoga!
