Lupe Hobgood, Equine Specialist and Animal Caretaker

Lupe has worked as a high school and middle school Career and Technical Education teacher and FFA Advisor for the past twelve years at her alma mater Myrtle Point High School, and most recently Colton High School, teaching courses including agriculture, agriculture business, animal science, health, horticulture, PE, small engines, welding, woodshop, and more. Lupe has been a 4-H horse judge and 4-H leader for many years and has since graduated from Oregon State University with her masters in Agricultural Education and bachelors in General Agriculture. Lupe has had horses since moving off a dairy farm when she was 12, and was a rodeo princess in high school. (And a dairy princess in college!) Currently, Lupe has a 20-year-old Pinto named Turbo, a 13-year-old Quarter Horse named Willy, and three 12-year-old mini horses named Coco, Flower, and Pete.
