Ana Lindsay, Mental Health Student Intern

Ana is a student at Lewis & Clark College working toward her master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Ecopsychology.

Originally hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, she moved to Asheville, North Carolina to pursue a bachelor’s degree in environmental science at Warren Wilson College. After graduation, she worked as a youth environmental educator facilitating the reconnection between kids, the natural environment, and education.

Ana has a love for the natural world through place-based connection and a deep curiosity for the wisdom of children. While her emphasis is working with children and families, she looks forward to working with clients of all ages. Pulling elements from Attachment Theory, Relational Cultural Theory, and ecopsychology, she works with her clients to navigate their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors for a more meaningful life in their terms.

In her free time, Ana enjoys hiking, birding, practicing yoga, rock climbing, and salsa dancing.
