An event every week that begins at 12:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until December 23, 2021

This is an 8-week virtual group for adults who experience chronic or invisible illness. Participants will be able to gain solidarity through group exploration of common themes, including societal invalidation, isolation, body mistrust and betrayal, medical mistrust and exhaustion, guilt, and grief over identity or lifestyle loss. In addition to an enhanced sense of community, participants will gain tools for coping with associated anxiety and depressive symptoms, as well as tools for developing increased self-worth and self-acceptance. This weekly group will run from October 28th to December 23rd, and will meet from 12pm-1pm for 8 consecutive Thursdays, excluding Thanksgiving. Limit of 12 participants. –Group meets weekly on Thursdays from 12pm-1pm.
–Runs from October 28th to December 23rd, for 8 consecutive weeks excluding Thanksgiving.
–Insurance accepted, including OHP. Cost is $36.00 per 60 minute session.
