Men’s Process Group: Navigating the meaning of Masculinity within Family, Society, Social Relationships

An event every 2 weeks that begins at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until August 17, 2022
The Men’s Process Group will be offered as an in-person 6 session group open to Male identifying individuals over the age of 18 and limited to 8 participants.
The group will be meeting every other week on Wednesdays at 3 PM beginning June 8th and ending August 17th, with each meeting lasting 90 minutes. Men’s Process Group offers a space for participants to process their experience of Masculine identity in relationship to the expectations set up by society, familial roles, and social connections. Using a format of introducing a Topic followed by open processing of participants feelings and experiences in relationship to it.
Example topics include How to process our emotions beyond the “fine/not fine” paradigm, What expectations we accept and reject in regards to the male experience, Understanding relational dynamics with different genders, and Deconstructing Gender norms and expectations while better understanding their impact on our daily lives.
